Public and Stakeholder Engagement
Project information and updates on progress will be published through this website and at consultation events. This Project will include many opportunities at each Stage for the public and other interested stakeholders to participate in meaningful engagement and consultation with the project team. The public are actively encouraged to participate in Public Consultation Events which will be held at various times throughout the project.
At Stage 1 there will be three scheduled events:
-
An opening Public Consultation Event (PCE) which will provide an opportunity for the public and other interested parties to give their initial views in relation to the key issues that should be considered in the Environmental Constraints Study and that should be addressed by the overall Scheme.
-
A second PCE will be held to present all options being considered for the scheme which are agreed with the steering group. The comments and queries raised through public consultations shall be considered in the Options Development Report.
-
A third, closing PCE will be held once an emerging preferred scheme has been identified and agreed with the steering group. The comments and queries raised through public consultations shall be considered in the Scheme design and during the preparation of the Natura Impact Statement and Environmental Impact Assessment Report.
The project team can be contacted at any time with queries / submissions by both email and post.
