Public and Stakeholder Engagement

Clare County Council and the Office of Public Works will engage with the public on the proposed Shannon Flood Relief Scheme in order to ensure adequate opportunities for public participation. Two public consultation events have been held to date.
The most recent public consultation event was held on Wednesday, 25th October 2023 at Treacys Oakwood Hotel. A copy of the emerging preferred option can be seen here.

Any interested parties may provide comments or raise queries in relation to the scheme and emerging preferred options by contacting the project team at shannonfrs@rpsgroup.com.
The comments and queries raised shall be considered in the Scheme design and during the preparation of the EIAR.
