The project will include opportunities for people to participate in public engagement, which will be notified on this website.

The public are encouraged to participate in Public Engagement days/events which will be held at various stages throughout the project.

Emerging options 

We invited local residents, businessmen, and all interested parties to attend the first Public consulation day for the Marlfield lake Flood Relief Scheme. We have gathered views, ideas and feedback on key issues reagarding the scheme and they will be taken into consideration while moving forward with deciding the prefered option. We value all feedback and greatly appreciate any time spent communicating any views. 

Members of the project team were present to discuss views and make the technical options understandable to the people present. The materials from the first consulation day are given below.

Additional Options and Project Updates

We invite local residents, businessmen, and all interested parties to attend the Second Public consulation day for the Marlfield lake Flood Relief Scheme. We will present two additional flood protection options not previously discussed in our last PCD and we will inform you about project updates, site investigation works, and the functionality of the sluice work.
