Irish Water is committed to developing a sustainable drainage solution for the Glanmire catchment to provide for future development and to meet environmental compliance and customer driven objectives under the Drainage Area Plan (DAP) Process. The DAP for Cork City including Glanmire has already commenced. Following meetings with CCC, Irish Water are now endeavouring to advance the Glanmire catchment DAP ahead of programme in order to meet the timelines associated with the Glashaboy Flood Relief Scheme.

Both Cork County Council and Irish Water are fully committed to working together on these issues.
