Site Investigation Works to Commence

Cork County Council has appointed Priority Geotechnical Ltd. (PGL) to carry out site investigation works to inform the design of the scheme. The works comprises the investigation of ground conditions using site investigation techniques across the scheme area. The site investigation techniques include trial pits, slit trenches, boreholes, groundwater monitoring and permeability tests. The overall Site Investigation Works are expected to commence in early August 2020 and will take approximately 6 weeks to complete. PGL will contact and meet with the affected landowners prior to any works taking place.
