Scheme Area
The outline Scheme Area for this Project is the village of Sandymount, Dublin 4 and the catchments of the Elm Park, Nutley & Trimleston Streams. Large parts of this area are vulnerable to different flood risks, including fluvial (river) flooding, pluvial (rainwater) flooding, coastal inundation, wave overtopping and surface water flooding. The Scheme aims to address these issues comprehensively to protect the community and infrastructure.
