Togher Interim Works 2015

Cork County Council carried out minor advanced works in Togher in the summer of 2015. These works were located on Togher Road in the vicinity of the northern entrance to Greenwood estate. The works consisted of the construction of additional gullies on Togher road, a new ramp across the road at the entrance to Greenwood and replacing sections of wall adjacent to the Tramore River with railings. These works were undertaken as reasonably practicable measures to reduce the amount of flood water flowing down into Greenwood estate.
