February 2022 Update : Surveys Ongoing
Kerry County Council has recently appointed Murphy Geospatial to undertake level surveys of the embankments, river channels, structures (bridges, culverts, weirs etc.) and building floor levels in and around Tralee. This survey information will be used to inform the geotechnical assessment of the existing embankments and the development of the hydraulic models. Surveys will be undertaken at intervals along all river channels within the Scheme area.
A geotechnical site investigation contract is currently being procured and it is expected that, subject to consents, this investigation contract will commence in 2022.
