Public and Stakeholder Engagement
The project will include opportunities for people to participate in public engagement, which will be notified on this website.
The public are encouraged to participate in Public Engagement days/events which will be held at various stages throughout the project.

Public Participation Day 1
The potential options Public Participation Day (PPD) took place in the Coast Rosslare Strand Hotel from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday 5th December 2024. There were separate spaces presenting the potential options for erosion control on Rosslare Strand and another presenting the potential options for flood protection on Burrow Road.

Public feedback and opinions on the options were received. These opinions will feed into our options assessment process as we choose an emerging preferred option.
The online version of the questionaire to voice your opinion was live until December 31st 2024. Alternatively a PDF version of it can be downloaded at the download link below.

Public Participation Day 2
The East Side Public Participation Day will take place on the 20th of August 2026 in the Coast Rosslare Strand Hotel from 4pm to 8pm.
At the event, participants will be able to:
- View the preferred option outline design,
- Speak directly with project team members, and
- Share your views by completing a questionnaire
