Lower Lee Public Information Day No.2

A Public Information Day for the Lower Lee (Cork City) Flood Relief Scheme (including Blackpool and Ballyvolane) was held in Cork City Hall Civic Offices foyer on Tuesday 29th July 2014 from 2pm to 9pm. The Public Inform Day provided an update on the identification of engineering measures for the Lower Lee from Innsicarra Dam downstream to and through Cork City, and for Blackpool and Ballyvolane. Members of the Project Design and Environmental Teams were present on the day to deal with queries from the Public. Information on the Flood Relief Scheme remained on display in Cork City until Tuesday 5 August 2014 and the public were invited to submit comments and make their views known both on the day and in the days afterwards.
