Site Investigation Works 2016

Cork County Council has appointed Priority Geotechnical Ltd. (PGL) to carry out site investigation works to inform the detailed design of the scheme. The works comprises the investigation of ground conditions using site investigation techniques for the two areas of the scheme, i.e. Douglas and Togher. The site investigation techniques include trial pits, slit trenches, rotary coreholes, groundwater monitoring, permeability tests, walls cores and reinforcement scanning. The overall Site Investigation Works are expected to take place between the 26th May 2016 and the 01st July 2016. PGL will contact and meet with the affected landowners prior to any works taking place.
