October 2020 Scheme Update Togher FRS

The construction work carried out along the Togher Road as part of the Togher Services Diversions Contract is now completed and the road is fully open to traffic.

Arup, the Office of Public Works, Cork City & County Councils wish to express their thanks to the people and businesses of Togher for their patience and continued support throughout the duration of the works.

The follow up construction contract is expected to commence next spring along Togher Road, Spur Hill, Lehenaghamore Road and Togher Industrial Estate. The scheme is expected to go to tender at the end of this year. These works will include the construction of a new culvert, a new trash screen, new drainage system and streetscape enhancement works. This is the third and final package of works of the the Douglas Flood Relief Scheme.
