Land required for the scheme

Cork County Council will write to every known landowners where it is proposed to construct part of the proposed flood defences on their land. The correspondence will commence on a phased basis from the end of June 2016. This will commence the process of seeking to reach a formal agreement with each landowner to enter onto their land to construct and maintain the scheme.
