Togher Services Diversions Contractor Appointment

Cork County Council is pleased to announce that Ward & Burke Construction Ltd. have been appointed as Contractors  for the Togher Services Diversions Contract, the second phase of the Douglas Flood Relief Scheme. The Togher Services Diversions Contract is an enabling works contract to prepare for the next phase, the Togher Culvert Replacement Works, (which will be tendered in the next few months). Following return of the tender submissions for the Togher Services Diversions Contract, the documents will be evaluated and the most suitable Contractor, in terms of quality and price, will be appointed undertake the works.

Ward & Burke commenced on site in February 2020 and work is expected to be completed on the services diversions in July 2020. The installation of the Togher Culvert will follow on from this contract.
